Our hearts are deeply saddened at the recent transition of our beloved Gillis R. Wilson, Sr.( affectionally called G, Uncle G, GR, or Mr. G.) on Friday, February 28, 2014. A wonderful caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, godfather, cousin, and friend to name but a few of his many attributes, we celebrate his life and legacy. A life and legacy filled with a love for God and people. A family man of great wisdom and leadership in his own right. We will miss his quiet power.
To Aunt Gert and the family, Isa. 51:12 says it this way, "I, even I, am He who comforts you. . . saith the Lord." Be encouraged with these and other words and expressions of love, comfort, peace, and strength during this difficult time. We love you! See the memorial page and book.

Gillis and Gert celebrated their 60th anniversary on January 30, 2014. They are the proud parents of nine children, and the grandparents of 20 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren. They were surrounded by family and friends who stopped by to wish them love and blessings, and many more years of happiness
